Stephanie Gilliam

Stephanie received a BA in Political Science from Brown University in 1986, and a MA in Architecture from Catholic University in 1993. The study of architecture provided the opportunity to explore visual expression in many different forms. She participated in several architectural studies programs in Europe, as well an internship in exhibit design at the Experimental Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution. She has spent the past three years working in the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, in both the architecture and interiors studios. At SOM, she has had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and building types. These include corporate and law office interiors, and the Jin Mao building in Shanghai, China. She is the Recipient of a Hollywood Foreign Press award.
