Siyi Ren

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Siyi Ren is a recent graduate of Case Western Reserve University, with an MS in Finance. After falling in love with cinema, Siyi interned at Beijing TV Station, Qiguan Tianxia Entertainment Company, and New Classics Media (Ruyi’’s Royal Love in the Palace). Siyi is now a second year Producing Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory, where she has produced several short films. She will be interning at China Lion Entertainment Production this fall, where she will participate in U.S. – China co-production, and help with their development. ror films told from a female perspective. Her short films The Koi, an official selection of Burbank International Film Festival, and Katana, nominated as Best Student Film at SoCal Clips Indie Film Fest, have been screened in festivals around the world.
