SIMON CARMODY was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where he worked as a stills photographer in advertising, until moving to New Orleans in 2001, where he began working with Côte Blanche Productions; credits include: THE MAN WHO CAME BACK, 2007 (editor, 2nd unit director), a feature length, Southern-Gothic Western; AMERICAN CREOLE: NEW ORLEANS REUNION, 2006 (editor), a nationally broadcast, PBS feature-length doc (winner; silver & bronze Telly awards). In 2010, Simon graduated from the American Film Institute's MFA Editing program, he now lives and works as a storyteller in Hollywood, California. THULE is Simon’’s fourth collaboration with director Robert Scott Wildes.
