Silvia grew up by a dead lake in North Italy where everyone’’s destiny is to be either a home appliance entrepreneur or a dentist. After her French BAC at the European School of Varese she moved to Milan where she got her BA in Italian Literature/ History and Film Studies, and then an Italian MFA in Writing/Producing. She then moved to Rome where she worked for a year as a script analyst for Cattleya, Italy’’s largest independent production house, enjoying Rome and studying acting and writing with masters such as Dominique de Fazio and director Marco Bellocchio. In Los Angeles she completed two film Certificate Programs at UCLA Extension and a one year Professional Screenwriting Program at UCLA film school before moving on to the American Film Institute where she completed her MFA in Directing. She is working on her thesis short film LOSING MY CHERRY, on writing her first feature script and she is pursuing painting with artist Joe Blaustein.
