Shiyun Lavi Hu

Lavi Shiyun Hu is a recent BA graduate of The Ohio State University where she majored in Film Studies. Originally from China, she drifted alone to Los Angeles after graduation. From October 2012 to March 2013, she worked in different productions both in China and the US. At AFI, she co-wrote and directed three cycle films. Last summer, she wrote and directed a short film “On the River” in China which became an official selection of the Montreal World Film Festival.
