Shira Aharony

Born and raised in Israel, Shira graduated from Tel Aviv University, earning a BFA in Film and Television Studies, and is currently pursuing her MFA in producing at the American Film Institute. Shira has worked as a producer for new media content, commercials, music videos and short films, many of which have been nominated and won awards in numerous film festivals including Cannes International Film Festival and NYC Short Film Fest. Her professional experience includes work for Green Productions in Israel, MIT Media Lab in Boston, and several development/production companies, such as Captivate Entertainment and The Operating Room, in Los Angeles. She currently holds a position at Hollywood Studios International. She aspires to work as a creative producer in both the U.S as well as Israel.
