Shaun Lavery

Originally from Chicago, Shaun spent the past ten years work- ing in post-production in Los Angeles. His credits range from working on television shows to editing new media content with companies like ABC and Fine Brothers Entertainment. He has also edited numerous independent short films, music videos and web series.

In 2015, he entered the Editing program at AFI to harness his focus to the narrative medium. While studying, Shaun acted as the finishing editor on the documentary team that produced Franca: Chaos and Creation which had its premiere at the 2016 Venice Film Festival before playing the 2016 AFI Fest and other notable film festivals
