Sean Yu

Sean first became fascinated in the art and craft of filmmaking at the age of 14 when his curiosity drove him to ask questions about the mechanics behind the camera as well as in front of it. As his curiosity evolved into a passion, Sean took up filmmaking as a field of study in college at Binghamton University, where he earned bachelor degrees, double majoring in film and history. After graduation, he continued to explore filmmaking as a career while interning at numerous film and media production companies in Manhattan and simultaneously volunteering on film crews throughout the boroughs of New York City. More recently, Sean co-founded Incendiary Entertainment, a film production company as a vehicle to develop and produce films of his own. Valentine, a dramatic crime thriller is their first project out of the gates and currently in the final stages of post-production. Before entering the AFI Conservatory, Sean was working at Indomitable Entertainment, a film finance, production, and advisory business pursuing opportunities in filmed entertainment, the theatrical musical, media, and digital entertainment marketplaces.
