Sara Nassim Valadbeygil

Sara is a filmmaker born in Reykjavík, Iceland. Sara started working as a Prod. Assistant more than five years ago but soon began tearing up several shows as 2nd AD. Sara has not only acquired scheduling skills in the AD department, but later moved on to more production-oriented posts. She was a producer at Pegasus Pictures, a prestigious production company in Iceland, from 2011 to 2012 and has since served as coordinator on various big-budget productions like GAME OF THRONES and Darren Aronofsky’’s NOAH as well as Production Manager and Line Producer on Icelandic Independent Feature films. She just received her MFA in Film Producing from the American Film Institute. During her two years there she was the recipient of the AFI Scholarship and the Jerry Bruckheimer Scholarship in her 2nd year. While at AFI she produced ZELOS, a DWW short film that premiered at Palm Springs International Shortfest, where it took home awards.
