Sandra Carmola

Sandra transitioned to production design from a background in architecture, after realizing she wanted to tell stories through design and this was to be her desti- nation all along. An alumni of the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in Production Design, she is also a registered architect from Charleston, South Carolina, and has over ten years of experience in conceptual design and construction documents, collaborating with consultants and contractors, interiors, presentation media, furniture production, and managing construction. She was awarded the Tony Scott Scholarship in her second year at AFI and was invited to join the Art Directors Guild Local 800 as an Assistant Art Director. Sandra is currently working on several projects and assistant art directing on features and commercials.
