Sahhara Fatima Assafiri

A Los Angeles native, Sahhara is a Lebanese-American filmmaker currently working towards her MFA in Producing at the American Film Institute. Sahhara received her BFA in Filmmaking and a minor in Communication from Woodbury University. Prior experiences include interning at a talent management company, as well as working as a production coordinator for Mad Anchor Entertainment on a Häagen-Dazs commercial for China, as well as a Chevy commercial for the Latino market. She recently produced a short film for the Director's Workshop for Women program called JOY JOY NAILS (official selection at Tribeca Film Festival).
