Rochelle Chávez

Rochelle has a BA in Theater with an emphasis in Scenic Design from UCSB. She also attended the New York School of Interior Design. While earning her degree, she served as assistant designer on two main stage theater productions as well as production designer on three AFI cycle films: SLOPPY JOE, ABSOLUTION, and AS IT IS. At UCSB she designed a set for the Queer Student Union Drag Show and collaborated with Film and Media Studies students to create a music video. In addition, Rochelle also served as an assistant lighting designer for a major Chinese theme park.
