Rebecca Mansour

In May of 1996, Rebecca graduated as Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude, and Presidential Scholar from the University of Detroit Mercy with a BA in English and History. As an undergraduate, she presented two academic essays for the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters. She also served as the Student Dean of the Honors Program, the Senior Editor of the literary journal, and the Assistant Coordinator of the English Writing Center. After graduating, Rebecca worked as an Associate editor for the Publishing House of Gale Research and as a Business and Technical Writing Instructor for Wayne State University. Her first success as a screenwriter came when her spec script for Paramount’’s DEEP SPACE NINE earned her an invitation to pitch stories to the show’’s writing staff
