Rafael Nur

Originally from Mill Valley, California, Rafi discovered his passion for film by making short documentaries in high school. Two of his films won awards at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences High School Student Television Awards. Rafael received his BA in Film Studies and English from Cornell University, where he directed a short documentary, Coloring the Generation, and wrote and directed a short narrative film, Derrick Poem. Before AFI, Rafael spent time working primarily as an editor for various film production companies in Los Angeles and New York.
