Rachel Alterman

Rachel is from Las Vegas, Nevada, where she attended the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts, studying opera and musical theater. Then, switching gears to film, she attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she produced a number of award-winning shorts and was awarded the Emerging Filmmaker Award. She moved to Los Angeles two years ago to have the opportunity to work on many TV shows and feature films. Rachel's co-producing feature film debut called LIARS, FIRES AND BEARS had its world premiere at the Dances with Films festival at the Grauman's Chinese Theatres in Los Angeles. While attending school at The American Film Institute, she has had the opportunity to work at Cross Creek Pictures, Scott Free Productions, and IM Global. She was also awarded the Fisher Fellow Award coming into her second year at AFI, where she recently graduated with an MFA in Producing.
