Petr Cikhart
Petr Cikhart has been working as a Cinematographer for 15 years, traveling to more than 100 countries. In 2012 Petr received an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute and recently completed shooting two feature length films. While at AFI Petr won the College Camera Operator of the Year Award from the Society of Camera Operators and his short film Dry Feet represented AFI at the worldwide Kodak Awards.
Before venturing into the narrative field Petr was an accomplished Cinematographer in the documentary world. His credits include the award-winning films Farmingville (2004 Sundance Special Jury Award) and Blindsight (2007 Berlin Audience Award). Petr has also worked on numerous critically acclaimed television programs, including The Amazing Race, which earned him a Prime Time Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography in 2007.
