Patrick Picard

Patrick Picard

Director

Patrick studied philosophy at the College of William & Mary, where he graduated as part of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. His first narrative short, ANNA WALKS IN, won first prize at the 2013 James River Shorts film festival — presented at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Patrick is also a painter and musician and is currently fascinated by dreams, golf, the Taoist idea of "the uncarved block", cold war accidents, 19th century Russian literature, Mozart, walks in the graveyard, and theology. Not least of all he is in love with a hue of yellow somewhere around yellow ochre. When that yellow is put next to an ultramarine blue it is really something.
