Omar Samad

With a varied education in Anthropology, Sociology, and Mythology, among others, Omar’s always been fascinated by the nature of stories and their impact on individual people and society at large. In telling his own stories, Omar’s explored his craft through acting, writing, photography, and sound, culminating in a career in film. A graduate of the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater, Omar went on to study and later teach at the New York Film Academy. With ten films completed, he’s received a Bachelor of Science from The New School University and is currently pursuing an MFA at the esteemed American Film Institute.
