Nodoka Kato

Nodoka is a graduate of University of Colorado with BA in Biology. With another BS in Computer Science from the University of Aizu in Japan, her interest shifts to the art of films, and she moved to New York to learn film production. With fruitful experiences in New York, she worked as a promotional video editor for network channel companies in Japan such as AXN Japan channel, which broadcasts U.S. television shows such as LOST and Alias. While making promos and trailers and grabbing the finest moment of each show, narrative story editing had become more interesting to her.

Since 2007, she has been attending at the American Film Institute Conservatory as an editing fellow. She finished editing six high quality graduate student films. Nodoka was the 2007 recipient of AFI’’s prestigious Tom Yoda Scholarship.
