Praveen Elankumaran

Indian-born cinematographer and graduate of both NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and American Film Institute, Praveen Elankumaran has experience shooting feature films with A-list talent, music videos, and short films that have played at film festivals around the world, as well as commercials for clients like H&M, Major League Soccer, Adidas and TBWA/Chiat/Day. He has also worked on lighting teams for various films and television shows, including IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK, HIGH MAINTENANCE, BROAD CITY, GIRLS and THE GREATEST SHOWMAN. Using authentic visuals, Praveen loves to tell subtle stories of the underrepresented, and to collaborate with filmmakers who give voice to the voiceless.
