Michael Learner

Michael Learner is a screenwriter from Chicago. He studied Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania and then worked as a healthcare consultant in New York City. But then... he quit his job and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream. He went on to earn his MFA in Screenwriting at the American Film Institute. Recently, a short film that he wrote was one of seven winners in the 2020 Stage 32 Short Film Program Contest and was purchased by the sci-fi media platform, DUST. Further, a feature screenplay of his won first prize in the University of Pennsylvania's 2020 Red & Blue List Contest. He doesn't miss his cubicle.
