Ling Guo

Born and raised in China, LING GUO earned her BA in Film Production majoring in Sound Design at Shanghai Theatre Academy. As a Sound Designer in Shanghai, she served in various kinds of features, theaters, TV series, and reality shows, including Midnight Dinner, and Voice of China. Several of her narrative shorts and documentaries were huge hits on the international festival circuit. After deciding to pursue producing, she produced several commercials and promotional videos in China. Ling is currently a producing fellow at American Film Institute. She also produced two narrative shorts in AFI. Outside AFI, She interned at Muse Entertainment and participated in the development of an HBO greenlit TV series. She quickly gained professional experience in development, production and acquisition.
