Sizhuo Li

Sizhuo “Suzy” Li is a writer/director from Wuhan, China. She is currently a 2nd year Directing Fellow at American Film Institute Conservatory. She is a graduate of Wuhan University with a BA in Drama and Film Literature. She has been involved in plenty of short films and large-scale TV shows, Reality shows in China, and recently a Disney + Documentary. Her works mainly focus on female narration to show their inner conflicts and social issues, also the cultural differences between East and West. She has a passion to tell family stories, especially the relationship between mother and daughter. Her short films won various of international film awards.
