He went to the United States after the release of his feature film, KID (2015) to pursue his lifelong dream, where he completed his undergraduate in film and worked in New York shortly after. Aspiring to become a cinematographer, his journey was put on pause due to a back injury. Praboo decided to put his focus in editing as a friend told him that he had potential citing that KID was nominated for best editing (Praboo edited the movie when he was 17). Pursuing his Masters in editing at the American Film Institute, Praboo uses his past experiences from the lighting and camera department into the editing bay to help his team further elevate the idea and content of the film in the editorial process.
