Maryn McGaw

Cinematographer Maryn McGaw loves exploring complex stories and drawing the audience in close. Stretching back to beginning in engineering, she’s always been piecing things together and taking things apart. Horror films do the same with important emotional, mental health, and identity topics- which is why she’s so excited to make Aro’s World.

A member of the Society of Camera Operators and the lighting union Local 728, she believes that the narratives we tell and the emotions we capture can truly resonate and aid people. She makes art for those working through something in their life and need it.
