Camille Tsalik is a Ukrainian-French American who earned her BA in Cultural Studies and World Cinemas at McGill University before becoming an AFI Screenwriting Fellow. As a producer, director and writer at TV McGill, her short, THE AMAZING RACE (TO CLASS), won Favorite Comedy of the Year. Additionally, "The Rays of Overstimulation Will Blind You," her critical piece on INHERENT VICE (2014), was published in the Slate Journal of Moving Images. She has worked for Almanack Screenwriters and served as consulting producer on THE TAO OF COMEDY podcast. At UCLA TFT, she developed online screenwriting courses and coordinated a two-part course in collaboration with Disney. Most recently, she has worked in development at Grey Matter Productions.
