Ari Lopez

Ari B. Lopez, a Los Angeles native of Mexican and Venezuelan descent, is a graduate of the American Film Institute's (AFI) esteemed Master's program in Screenwriting, class of 2023. Ari's rich cultural background profoundly influences his storytelling, adding authenticity and depth. Before AFI, Ari honed their craft in improv at The Second City Hollywood and The Groundlings Theatre and built a foundational knowledge in Film Studies at Santa Monica College. With additional expertise from the Sundance Collab Courses in screenwriting and TV writing, Ari combines a multifaceted educational background with a unique cultural lens.
