Radha Mehta
DirectorRadha Mehta is a first generation South Asian / American born to immigrant parents from Mumbai, India. She is a mother of two children, a wife of a Puerto Rican Army Ranger Veteran, and a person with a disability of being Hard-of-Hearing. Prior to joining AFI, her career in arts and entertainment includes 6 years directing and producing award-winning short documentaries; 15 years composing music for film/TV across networks of MTV, VH1, WE, Oxygen, and E!; and 10 years exhibiting original paintings across galleries and museums in the U.S. As a community leader, Radha serves as Chair/Co-Founder of a South Asian Entertainment Organization (SAMMA); co-hosts annual diversity workshops for ABC & Disney in elevating South Asian talent; and previously served as an elected Board Member of The Recording Academy.
