Cornelius Jones

Cornelius Jones Jr. was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He is a trained stage and screen actor as well as a vocalist having studied at institutions such as The Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Syracuse University, The University of The Arts (BFA), New York University (MA), and the William Esper Studio in New York City. As a television actor, he most recently guest starred as the fabulous Tequila Mockingbird on HBOMAX's GENERATION, Season 15 of CBS’s CRIMINAL MINDS as Madame Bouvier, FOX's A CHRISTMAS STORY - LIVE, SWAT (CBS), I'M DYING UP HERE (Showtime), YOU’RE THE WORST (FX), and NBC’s LAW & ORDER: SVU. As a stage actor, he has performed notable roles such as Lola in KINKY BOOTS (2020’s West Coast Regional Premiere), Donkey in SHREK (West Coast Regional), Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID (West Coast Regional) Sweaty Eddie in SISTER ACT (San Diego Theater Critic Nominee for Best Featured Actor), Kenny in Neil Simon’s LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR (West Coast Regional), Pasadena Playhouse's RAGTIME (2019 Ovation Award for Best Production), The Hollywood Bowl productions of ANNIE (directed by Michael Arden) and A CHORUS LINE (directed by Baayork Lee). Cornelius has also played the BROADWAY stage in the following shows: THE LION KING, THOU SHALT NOT, and SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE (US National Tour).Cornelius is represented by Natalie Kollar of LA Talent.
