Justin Horowitz

Justin Horowitz is a writer & director based in Los Angeles, fascinated with stories of messy characters struggling with self-acceptance. He is a Screenwriting Fellow at AFI Conservatory. His most recent short film, YOU CRACK ME UP, was featured in the Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival in 2020. Justin’s feature-length screenplay, WE HAVE A SITUATION., was one of the Top 50 Features in Roadmap Writers’ JumpStart Competition 2019. In addition, his feature-length screenplay, SHELLS, was a Semi-Finalist (Feature-Drama) in Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest 2018. Justin’s animated half-hour pilot, DICKASAURUS REX, was an Official Selection (Comedy Screenplays) at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival Winter 2018. Previously, he studied improvisational and sketch comedy at The Groundlings School. He would love to have a corgi someday.
