Jiehan Mercury Song

Jiehan "Mercury" Song is a filmmaker from Beijing. She has studied abroad in the United States since high school and received a BA in theatre, film, and digital production from UC Riverside. Mercury interned at SohuTV. She was the PR leader of the “ R’short” film club from its inception until the time she graduated. She worked as the assistant editor on the winner on the Riverside International Film Festival audience choice winner “AWKWARD SILENCE”. During her senior year at UCR, she worked as an editor on the department film "IS NOT FOR YOU" with Dean Cundey. Mercury has volunteered as an editor and in PR for the Los Angeles Chinese Film Festival in her free time. Now she is an editing fellow at the American Film Institute.
