William Serri

William Serri (he/him) is third generation Irish-American filmmaker from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. He received his BFA in acting from Syracuse University. After he graduated, William performed in the Rising Sun Performance Company of NYC. Through Rising Sun, he was nominated for best actor in the Planet Connection Theatre Festival. He soon joined Rising Sun's board as the Director of Sustainability and New Media. He has a passion for green operations and was the liaison for district 8 of the Citizens' Climate Lobby in Brooklyn, NY. Now he's a Producing Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory. During his free time, William loves to Salsa dance, play guitar, and cook a bangin' dinner. Also chocolate ice cream is his favorite. Even on the coldest of days!
