Jacob Holmquist-Franco

Jacob Holmquist-Franco (he/him) is a third generation American filmmaker from East LA. He received a double BA in Film Production and Philosophy from California State University, Fullerton. Having previously worked in Special Effects and Stunts (Dunkirk and Star Trek), Jacob has a unique insight and passion for genre filmmaking and balancing the spectacle of cinema with the intimacy of character driven stories. A soon to be graduating Directing Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory, Jacob is looking forward to developing Nahual into a feature film in the future.
