Nicholas Swanton

Nicholas Swanton is a Boston-born filmmaker and programmer living in New York City. Often incorporating found elements, rephotography, and analog video, his work is concerned with rhythm and lyricism, history & the historicity of experience, and image making. He is the founder and director of the experimental film festival Peripheries. His work is distributed by the Film-Makers’ Cooperative and the CFMDC.
