Nathan Wang

Nathan's distinguished musical career began at the age of four. By the time he was nine, he was already studying music performance, musical theory, and composition at the University of Southern California. Upon graduating from Pomona College, Nathan received a Fulbright Fellowship to do graduate work at Oxford University, England. After two years overseas, he returned to Los Angeles to pursue his musical interests. Since that time, Nathan has assembled an impressive list of composing credits for both television and film. Some of these credits include China Beach, HBO‚s Tales from the Crypt, Felix the Cat, CBS‚ That‚s Life, and the documentary Lost Children of Berlin, produced by Steven Spielberg, which earned Nathan a Cable Ace Award nomination. He has also been the composer for Jackie Chan's Asian version films; "Rumble in the Bronx", "First Strike", and "Who Am I?" Nathan was honored with a Singapore Emmy Award for Best Arrangement of a song for Hong Kong's pop star Wong Faye and is constantly arranging and composing for overseas artists, often recording with the Hong Kong Philharmonic. In 1999, Nathan and Hans Zimmer worked on "The Last Days", another film produced by Steven Spielberg, which earned an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
