Natalia Regás Sánchez
NATALIA REGÁS was born in Barcelona a few years before the Olympic Games and before Woody Allen made the city an international reference. Twenty-three years later, she graduated in Pompeu Fabra University with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts (2005). While working on her degree, she started her career at Barcelona TV station where she discovered that being behind the camera made her happy. There she worked for the following two years as a camera operator and editor and, in the meantime, she spent her free time shooting documentaries and short movies. Thanks to her discipline and passion for filmmaking, she achieved one of the 50 Spanish national scholarships (Becas de 'La Caixa') to study in the USA. She attended the American Film Institute (2007-2009) and graduated with a Master's degree in Cinematography. During the program she shot 6 short movies both in video and film. EGGBABY is Natalia's thesis project and the first step in the career of a Director of Photography that can work in three different languages and combines the Hollywood know-how with the European touch.
