Michelle Lawler

Michelle is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer who has worked in film and television since 1999 as a gaffer, AC, and DP. In 2009, she directed a feature documentary called FOREVER’’S GONNA START TONIGHT, which received a Frameline completion grant and has won Audience Award's at Outfest LGBT film festival, and Translations film festival Seattle. Recent productions include gaffer on narrative features THE OWLS (Berlinale 2010) and COOLER; and director of photography for the feature documentary WILDNESS. Lawler received San Francisco State University.
