Michael Sargent

Michael Sargent is rapidly gaining recognition as an important new voice in theater. He attended UCLA and received the American College Theater Festival’’s short play award. His plays have been performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Padua Hills Playwright’’s Festival. The Cast Theater production of AND ANOTHER HONKYTONK GIRL SAYS SHE WILL was ranked among the best Equity-Waiver productions of 1988. Sargent recently directed a production of his critically acclaimed new play, I HATE! at the Cast Theater.
