Michael Garcia

Michael attended college in his home state of New Mexico before moving to California to attend California State University Northridge, where he attained his BA in Cinema and Television Arts. As a senior at Northridge Michael received a merit based grant from ARRI for his undergraduate thesis film, which then screened as part of the Cal State Showcase at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Michael has since worked as a Cinematographer on numerous short films, a cable television series and a feature as well as sustaining a career as a Camera Operator in both narrative and ENG fields. Michael continues to pursue narrative work and is in pre-production on a feature and several short films.
