Mengying Yang

Irene Yang is a recent Producing graduate from AFI, where she produced four narrative short films. She has been constantly working in film development, marketing and financing throughout her study. She currently interns at Starlight Media, a China backed financing company. In 2018, she worked at Propaganda Global Entertainment Marketing as China Marketing Intern, and Assistant Producer at Janet Yang Productions. In 2017, she interned at the Beijing office of Walt Disney Studios and Legendary Pictures. Summer 2016, she served as an intern at DMG Entertainment and Awesomeness Films. Irene studied Film Directing at Beijing Film Academy from 2013-2017. In 2015, she was awarded a scholarship for an exchange program at Columbia College Chicago.
