Matthew Gentile

Matthew Gentile is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He recently graduated from the prestigious directing program at the American Film Institute, where his thesis film FRONTMAN won the Student Emmys for Best Drama and Best Director and has played in over fifty film festivals worldwide including the Academy-qualifying AFI Fest and Camerimage, won twenty awards including the Dolby + Vizio Cinematography Vision Award. Since graduating AFI, Matthew directed another short film, HEART OF SWORD, in Japan for Toei Studios through the Kyoto Filmmakers' Lab, which will premiere on Japanese television on NHK in April.
