Marques Green

MARQUES GREEN (writer/director) is a filmmaker who works in both the narrative and documentary form. His career began shadowing and working alongside Emmy® Award winning and Oscar® nominated directors Jon Alpert and Matthew O'Neill on the ESPN feature documentary A WOMAN AMONG BOYS. Prior to attending AFI, Green directed THE BLUEST NOTE, which won several awards on the international festival circuit and top honors in the independent narrative short category for The Reel Black (Critics) Awards. Green graduated from Colgate University with a BA in Political Science and Sociology.
