A lifelong lover of storytelling and performance, Marlene began producing large- scale events at age 16. She holds a B.A. in film and journalism minor from UNLV, where she also studied graduate business and art history. As Caesars Palace Entertainment Manager, Marlene liaised for resident artists Jerry Seinfeld, Elton John, Bette Midler and Cher, and was the property’’s talent booker. Prior to that, she served as Internal Communications and Community Relations Manager during the world’’s largest gaming merger. Marlene received her M.F.A. from the AFI Conservatory, where she served as student representative on the American Film Institute’’s Advisory Committee and was a Board of Trustees’’ Scholarship recipient. She is a freelance writer and producer whose short films include Harvest, The Time Chair, Birthday and Tumbling.
