Mark Alan Dashnaw

Mark received his BA in Film/Theater from Cornell University more years ago than he cares to admit. While there, he wrote, directed, acted in and edited two films that he feels are actually worth seeing, NEAR YOU and UPON REFLECTION. He has worked, to varying degrees, with digital, video and film editing. He is most comfortable dealing with the archaic art of actually cutting film and less so with the other forms. He has worked as a Production Assistant on numerous mind-numbing commercials and industrials, not to mention a couple of really awful porno flicks. Mark has also acted, professionally and non-professionally, both on film and on stage. He co-wrote DETOUR, a second year graduate film produced at Columbia College in Chicago, and has worked for Fox Theatricals, and a theatrical production company in Chicago.
