Marina Stabile

Marina was born in Brazil and grew up in Switzerland. She did her undergraduate studies in Cinema-Television Critical Studies and International Relations at the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, Marina produced several short films while interning at a variety of different companies in LA, in TV and Film production, acquisitions and distribution. After graduation Marina worked for the United Nations coordinating the production of the International Labour Organization’s documentaries and its broadcast training program for Asia. She then worked with a young director in Brazil on WANDERING HEART, a feature-length documentary that was an official selection of the 2009 Rome Film Festival, and was theatrically released in Brazil in July 2009. While at AFI, Marina produced 4 short films and three 35mm MOS projects in addition to serving as a Line Producer and Unit Production Manager in over ten short films.
