Maria Alice Solon Arida

Knar has worked in post-production for 15 years. Her credits include the acclaimed documentary ‘Scratch’’ (dir. Doug Pray; Sundance Grand Jury Prize 2001), ‘National Treasure’’ (dir. Jon Turletaub), ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3’’ (dir. Gore Verbinski), ‘Miss You Already’’ (dir. Catherine Hardwicke), HBO’’s ‘Looking’’, and various other films released theatrically as well as television series for Starz, Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. Knar has worked in the Post Production department at Robert Redford's Sundance Institute Feature Film Program for 10 years. She spends her free time editing independent music videos, short narratives and documentaries. These include projects that have premiered at Los Angeles Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. Knar graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Communication, with an emphasis in the Entertainment Industry/Film.
