Luis Camara Silva

Born in Mexico City. He received a bachelor's degree in

Communication Science from the Monterrey Institute of

Technology and Superior Studies. While a student there, he

directed four plays and one short film. Upon graduation he

worked extensively in film and video production, taught drama

to university students and wrote about film for the newspaper

""El Norte"". After completing the first year directing program

at AFI, he received the Hollywood Foreign Press Scholarship.
