Lawrence A. Strothe
Larry earned his MFA in Producing at the American Film Institute in 1998, where he produced four short films, including the award-winning MI CASA ES SU CASA. Prior to AFI, he spent seven years at Midland Productions, a special effects film production company that creates simulator "ride films," eventually associate producing and producing several of the company’’s major projects. He has also produced MTV Logo IDs, a Tower Record commercial and was a co-producer for WILD ARTIC, a simulator film now shown at Sea World in Florida and San Diego. His latest project was CRASHENDO for IMAX Ride Film. He earned his BA in Film with an emphasis in Animation from San Francisco State University. After AFI, he teamed again with Director Elizabeth Massie and produced "ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING", a 35 mm short comedy which is currently playing the film festival circuit. Larry recently completed a two-year run as a production manager of three television shows for Playboy Entertainment Group, Inc.
