Lauren Fitzsimmons

Lauren is a Production Designer based in LA and NYC. Beginning with a love for Theatre, Ballet, and Opera she attended the Conservatory for Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase College in NY, earning a BFA in Scenic Design. Her experience over the past 10 years working in film and TV in NYC and LA includes work for Paramount, Showtime, HBO, CBS, Sony, USA, FX, Lions Gate and Focus Features. Her most recent release was "Fun Size" for Paramount that she Art Directed, and has just finished designing a feature called "Someone Marry Barry" for producer Barry Josephson and director Rob Pearlstein. Lauren has enjoyed collaborating with students at AFI on three thesis films and would like to thank the team for a wonderful experience. Her work can be viewed at laurenfitzsimmons.com
