Laura Kaufman

Laura Kaufman returns to Los Angeles with a wealth of newspaper reporting and free-lance writing experience. Born and reared in the San Fernando Valley, she obtained her BA in Journalism at San Diego State University and went on to write for most of the major publications in San Diego County, including the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune. Laura also has performed culture for KPBS-FM. Her first play, LOVE LINES, A COMEDY OF BEDSIDE MANNERS received its premiere last spring at Stephen F. Austin State University. Laura loves Shakespeare, film, trees and laughing. Laura is the recipient of a Women In Film Award in 1998.
